What version are you using??
Go to Common Settings
>DVD>Protection … look there and there is a option to check or uncheck the box for CSS protection…
This is for version 4.0.6.2 Plat.
thanks_ I had a version 4.0.6.2 but w/o css
preferences…I downloaded the real deal at
http://www.dvdfab.net/mlink/download.php?g=PLATINUM
I had some difficulties with this as a stand alone.
ThenI added AnyDVD to run in the backgrund…all problems are currently resolved.

If I follow you, you still have the wrong application.
Fengtao has both css & non-css applications available for business/legal reasons.
These are at separate and distinct download sites.
The non-css app, obviously, is not capable of ripping css-copy protected discs by itself and needs help,
such as you provided.
The full-featured, “standalone” software is the “css” application available on Fengtao’s homepage:
http://www.dvdfab.com/download.htm
and also at/near the top of this subforum as as stickies:
http://club.cdfreaks.com/f116/dvdfab-4-0-6-2-out-238464/
http://club.cdfreaks.com/f116/dvdfab-4-0-6-5-beta-out-239368/
maineman is correct you need to download from dvdfab.com.
also do not run anydvd at the same time.
