Crucial reveals MX500 SSDs with capacities up to 2TB

Crucial today revealed its MX500 SSD series. The drives feature Micron 64 layer 3D TLC NAND combined with a Silicon Motion SM 2258 controller. The drives make use of the SATA-600 interface and are able to achieve maximum sequential reads of 560 MB/s and maximum sequential writes at 510MB/s.
