cant do better than 439.00 for this ssd, prices are tumbling.
In Euro that's €323 at the current exchange rate.
I paid roughly €300 for an Hitachi 1TB desktop hard disk June 2007. If that SSD was that price here, I'd probably pick one up.
wait a few months they will be much cheaper. I just got a 1tb and a 750gb Samsung evo , both for less than 700 usd.
More than happy to wait, if i can get a 480SSD for 150 euro, but overseas the prices are very low, compared to the ones that we have here in the EU.
The lowest price of 840 EVO 500GB in Seoul is as of now a little over KRW 430,000, or about US$410 (1 USD = 1,058.5 KRW.)
I am not understanding your analogy here Kenny, are you saying that this 960gb Crucial M500 is a bad deal for 437.00 or that the Samsung EVO 500gb is a btter deal at 400.00, you can get the 500gb EVO here for 299.99USD.
The price for the M500 960gb Crucial just got lower
I'm seeing some price-cuts for these highest-capacity SSDs, and even some 50-cent-ish prices on older and smaller capacity models, too. $70-80 for 120Gb's, and $120-140 for some 250Gb's.
That's pretty nice.
Right now, I am paying less than .50 a gb for my SSD storage. I actually look for the price to drop another 20% before next summer.
I meant you are living in heaven.
