Crosflasshing Pioneer DVR-115D for bitsetting?

I have a DVR-112D (great burner!) and successfully used TBD’s wonderful efforts to crossflash it first to ver. 8.06 and then 8.21 – works like a charm, all my burns with DVD+Rs come out as DVD-ROMs perfectly.

I’m tempted to get a DVR-115D but am wondering if there’s any similar working bitsetting firmware hacks for this unit yet?

Nope, until someone gets a hold of the firmware, there is no bitsetting support for +R at the moment.

Thanks for the quick response! My initial search didn’t turn anything up either, but 'freaks often have a way of getting advanced scoops…:slight_smile:

I’ll stick with my new 112-D as it seems to be the best burner I currently own – super-fast ripping and great burns with even sub-par media.
