Last weekend i downloaded the Olympics opening ceremony from revott. I downloaded a mkv file (~4.8GB) which ran OK on my computer using VLC media player.
The thing is that i really want it to have in DVD so i can play in on my dvd player whenever i want.
So i got this program called mvk2vob which converted the file into VOB without encoding it and preserving the original resolution (i dont want a re-encoded VOB file at the end). This conversion went OK and now i have a single VOB file (5.26GB) that i can also play on VLC without any trouble at all and has the exact same video and audio properties than the mvk file.
I got some double-layer dvd's with the hope of burning the vob file, but im aware that i need to create the dvd structure (IFO and BUP files). This is where im stuck. I have no idea how to create the dvd structure and how to burn it into a double-layer dvd.
I did try to create the ifo files with ifoedit but my pc wont go over this screen:
My computer gets done with this screen but the program will freeze there and wont create any dvd structure.
I will really be thankful if someone can guide me over the steps i need to do so i can burn this VOB on a double-layer dvd.
Thanks a lot
