CRC Problem copying The Ring

vbimport

#1

I’ve been trying to copy The Ring with no luck so far. It always stops at the cyclic redundancy check error “E:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_5.VOB: read error”. I am using the ANYDVD 4.6.3.1 free trial, and the CloneDVD2 2.7.5.1 free trial. I also tried using the latest DVD Decryptor and currently it keeps giving me bad sector errors at the VTS_01_2.VOB at around 20% of its decrypting process. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW…Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2, Intel P4 3.0GHz, my drive is a NEC DVD+RW ND-3100AD…anything else you need to know? Also, here’s the log file.

Clean the disc or obtain a different one. CRC errors are generally due to dirty, smudged, scratched disc or imperfections in the original press.
