Purchased this program, loaded it, got message: “Older graphics hardware or drivers have been detected on your system.”

I have upgraded all of the drivers. I have a Radeon X300 Series card in my computer. The Corel Videostudio will not play or edit. What do I need to do to get this program to run on my machine?

Hi and Welcome!

Have you verified, your system meets the requirements:

[/li]> [li] Windows® 7, Windows® XP SP3 Home Edition/Professional, Windows® XP Media Center Edition or Windows Vista® SP1 (recommended)
[/li]> [li] 1 GB of RAM (2 GB or higher recommended)
[/li]> [li] 128 MB VGA VRAM or higher (256 MB recommended)
[/li]> [li] 4 GB of hard disk space
[/li]> [li] Minimum display resolution: 1024 x 768
[/li]> [li] Windows-compatible sound card
[/li]> [li] Windows-compatible DVD-ROM for installation
[/li]> [li] Recordable DVD drive required for creating DVDs
[/li]> [li] Internet connection required for online features[/ul][/li]

I guess, your VGA card does not have enoughb physical RAM. You can use GPU-Z to find some information about your VGA card.
