Copying home movies to disc

Click here to see full specs[/qanda]Hello, This is my first message so could somebody help me, please! I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC32. I want to copy my mini DV tapes to a DVD disc whereby i can watch my movies on tv! I am totally and utterly confused by all this DVD+R, DVD-R, CD+R jargon. I saved 2 movies on my computer and i haven’t a clue how to put them on disc. I would really appreciate any help I get, thanks very much. :confused:

Your camera should have come with a disk/program to burn movies to a DVD. If not Sonic MYDVD, and I think NERO deluxe and Media Player may also do this. All you need is a DVD burner on your computer and follow the on-screen directions which will take awhile. I was doing this all the time but have not had the opportunity to use my camcorder lately. Let me find my links!
DVD-R and +R are fine. Don’t worry about that stuff just yet. Least of your problems. LOL
