Copying a BD

Help, anydvd HD ver does not remove BD+ protection codes.

The source disc is “AVATAR” and is bd|+ protected and cannot be copied. See below **

According to the AnyDVD HD documentation, it is supposed to remove these protection codes

 • AACS &
 • BD+

** "Error processing blu-ray disc! -
Failed to remove BD+, Error 668! "

Media is BD+ Protected

Avatar has a new form of BD+ protection and cannot be copied by any known blu ray ripper at the the present time. Going by comments in the AnyDVD forums, you should expect an update to AnyDVD HD to deal with this new protection within two weeks or so. Though that is a best case scenario, and it might take longer.

This only took a day.

The latest update should work for Avatar:

Both DVDFab and DVDFab Passkey have now been updated to cope with this title as well.
