Copy vhs protected to dvd with combodvr

Copy vhs to dvd with liteon 9016 combo?

Are you copying a store bought VHS? If so you will need aditional hardware. If they are personal movies yes you can with ease.

You’ll need a separate VHS and a macrovision removal filter (sometimes called an image stabiliser).

As far as I’m aware there’s no other method on a standalone combo unit unless you use modified firmware.

Yes but like all these devices it’s designed to be connected between the source device and the recording device.

If you have a combo unit then presumably you can’t connect it this way so you’ll need another VHS unit as well to act as the source unit.
