Copy To DVD SE

Hi
I have the copytodvd se which was free when I bought 1clickdvdcopy pro
and I have been prompted to the latest version which I did. But, this is another one altogether- copy to dvd - and I don’t know if I should delete it or what to do. The little icon on my desk top for the two are also different and the way they are used are different…any ideas please?
Thanks
Angie

Do you own a separate license for CopytoDVD purchased from VSO ?

If you Do not own a separate VSO license for CopytoDVD -
You might need this : Complete/Clean Uninstall/REinstall

There are some Issues incurred

If you do Purchase the Retail version of CopytoDVD from VSO
You’ll need to remove the SE version first
There are some Issues incurred

  • when Installing the retail CopytoDVD over the LGSI Licensed version

IF you do own a separate license for CopytoDVD purchased from VSO
I really see no point in having Both Versions installed

I would think by keeping both Versions installed

  • that you’re just asking for trouble - somewhere down the road

I thought we had already been over this … a couple of times

oops sorry if I’m doubling up on same question…but thanks…

Hi Shannon long time I don’t stop by. I have 1Click and I just updated my subscription. After installing though I didn’t see any CopyToDVD Se .exe. Is it in the LG Folder somewhere? Or do you have a link I can go to to download it? Let me know if I have to uninstall/reinstall or w/e. Thnx.

I’m not sure what’s up
I just noticed that myself
( don’t know how long it’s been gone )

I don’t even have CopytoDVD installed- myself,

  • and haven’t for a long time
1Click has it own embedded (VSO) Burn engine

I’ll have to Ask LGSI Support

Thnx for the reply. Good to hear from you. When you hear anything let me know. The projects I’m doing right now benefit more from 1Click and/or CopyToDVD as I need the VTS File Folders and not images. I Think the SE version would suffice w/out having to insatall the complete full version of CopyToDVD.

Shannon here’s a link that LG sent me. Try it in your browser. When I tried to open it in a tab it wouldn’t take. Maybe you’ll have different result.

this works for me … ( I didn’t install )

It worked for me as well. I just put it in the browseer. App. works fine also. I installed and burned a DVD. I’ll prolly just go ahead soon here and install the full version which I have. It was a lil buggy a while back w/7 x64.

I use it all the time, I love the program, it was just was updated on Jan 15th.2010.

i like it very much myself. Been swaying back n forth w/burning apps. I’m sticking w/it as it’s more helpful now as I’m encoding to H.264 and need the VTS Folder files. Also glad support guy from LG suggested that if it’s doing same thing as another burning app. better to stay w/1 as too many can cause conflicts. Which i’ve seen.
