I`m a newbie here, please help me..
Do you have a Yamaha writer?
If so, make sure that you have the latest firmware version.
If you have another brand of writer also check if you have the newest firmware.
www.firmware.fr.st is a good place to look as well.
I am also new to CloneCD and getting the error message: Writing to CD failed, MEDIUM ERROR: WRITE ERROR - PADDING BLOCKS ADDED (3:0x0c:0x0a)
The ‘read’ process seems to be working well but during the ‘write’ I get anywhere from 35% to 90% of the way through it and up jumps the devil. I have printed the Manual and followed it to the letter but get the same results each time.
Is it possible that my system configuration just isn’t compatible with CloneCD? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
K-6 Athlon 850
NEC DV5700A (reader)
Yamaha CRW2100EZ (writer w/latest firmware version available, 1.0N)
Nero ver. 220.127.116.11
Verbatim 80’ 700MB discs (recommended by Yamaha, after their own, of course)
Are there any other CD duplication programs out there besides CloneCD and BlindWriter. I’ll keep trying until I find one that works for me.
