Copy karaoke cdgs

I am so frustrated. I have been trying to take some of my karaoke cdg’s and make a “favorites” cdg. I have found that the files are called cda and have a graphic encrypted inside it. I can’t see graphics with my recorder, I am assuming I have to convert these files into vcd. I am not sure if I can do it with my computer or what software I need. If you have any advise please let me know.

Is that any reason to create two threads?

CDA is the filename extension for a raw PCM that forms a standard audio cd music track.
You can rip these tracks with any cdripper software. EAC or CDex will do this for you. Both freeware.

Karaoke CD’s have additional information stored in the subs (not as part of the data). You will need some form of special karaoke / cd extra player software to retrieve this information, as it’s not directly accessible by standard pc software.
