Forgive the noob question, but -
I pulled the internal hard drive out of my old computer before I donated it.
Now, I've got the HD - installed into a frankenstein computer. Set it to be a slave.
Shows up as drive D - but CANNOT SEE FILES (pictures, personal documents) I wish to copy.
The old computer and this one were/are running OS win 98 SE
I was hoping the Frankenstein would show it as an external storage device and I would be able to copy/burn the pictures and documents to a CD. Grrrrrrrrrrr
Bear with me - Never tried this before. I'm sure I've completely neglected some sort of configuration bs.
Many thanks in advance for suggestions and help.
