I have found a very good answer to the warm/hot AV receiver (mine is the Onkyo tx - sr 805) by using the super quiet 140 x 140 fan with adjustable power converter over the power supply -

I would love to see a pic bigmike7, not that I have a hot A/V reciever but in the labs at my office some of our equipment gets really hot, and I am trying to picture what you mean. Thanks.
