[B]Hi I Have A Problem With ConvertXToDvD. The Problem Is That Every time I Add Vob Files (Already Dvd Video Files) it always says source puldown and Converted video may stutter. I don’t know how to fix that.

Latest version is v2.2.3

Since v2.2.2, there’s a new 100% re-written Video Demuxer.

Try again with the latest and see if the new demuxer fixed that issue.

ConvertXtoDVD - 2.2.2 - Released 6th of June 2007

Complete rewrite of the AVI demuxer, for improvement such as:

  • accurate determination of audio start time, working with CBR/VBR audio (fixes most audio out of sync issues)
  • fault tolerance improved - very damaged AVI files (truncated, incomplete parts missing, wrong indexes) should be better handled now, and no longer produces out of sync audio.
  • lightning fast preview scroller, will give 99% of the time a perfect image
  • files with 'rec ’ chunks are handled
  • accurate duration determination (fixes bogus or truncated AVI that used to need a parsing to obtain their accurate duration)

What is the source of those .VOB files ?

Are they a bought DVD ? or the output of ConvertXtoDVD ?

Pulldown is usually used when your going from PAL to NTSC (Vice Versa).

23 frames per seconds, going up to 29.97 NTSC for example.

Yes, it’s normal is may studder a little, seems you really have to pay attention, but it’s there, and it’s absolutly normal.

Because the log showed here with v2.2.1 show this warning, but idetified the source as already NTSC 29.97 and the output is going to be 29.97 also.

Do you have the log of v2.2.3 ?

Let the whole conversion log, and burn it and look at the results on your TV.

Huh :eek: 59.94 for framerate ? Now that is weird.

What are you trying to achieve ?

Your taking an NTSC DVD, and forcing an output of NTSC !
Are you just trying to make it fit to a DVD5 media ?

If that’s the case, use DVDShrink (Free).

DVD’s are protected, this is probably why you are having some errors.

I bought SlySoft AnyDVD to remove all protections on the DVD so they can be ripped, copied, ran throught ConvertXtoDVD etc…

There’s other freeware rippers like DVDFabDecrypter etc…

Are you running a cracked/warez version ? :confused:

hi,
i’m using convertxtodvd ver.2.2.3.258. to convert more avi movies.after burn to dvd all the picture is ok
but the confusing.the sound on my dvd player only present audio (eng) 2 channel no optional.
any one know or have some tips how to add DTS or 5.1 (audio stream).
