I’m using to ConvertX to convert Divx to DVD. I burned several DVD’s with no problem. Now I’m getting DVD’s that can’t be read on either of my DVD palyers. The conversion goes fine, as does the burning. But when the DVD is ejected by my burner, I now get the information that the "media removed, burning layer not ready to write. Does this have anything to do w/ me burning coasters?
"I now get the information that the “media removed, burning layer not ready to write.”
All this means is that the program understands that there is no dvd in the drive, and because of that, it’s not ready to write. That message happens everytime and has nothing to do with your burning being a problem.
First step, try burning at a slower speed, or convert and burn while you are not using the computer.
Also make sure you are forcing the Video output to the needed standard in the settings: PAL or NTSC
