I am new to this forum, so a big hello to everyone, and here's hoping someone could lend a helping hand (or at least some advice).
Forgive me if I have asked this question in the wrong section, but I am sure someone will correct it if required. Here goes...
I have various mixed CD's that I have bought, and wish to convert them to MP3 to play on an mp3 player.
Now, converting them to MP3 is the easy bit, but getting them to remain as one continuous mixed MP3 with the ability to skip certain tracks, is another issue all together.
When I try to burn them on to a CD (I use Nero) as an audio CD, it converts the files back to CDA to be compatible in CD players. If I burn as an ISO, it adds the individual MP3s as separate files.
This is no good because it defeats the purpose of having a mix.
After many different attempts, I managed to get one MP3 that is about an hour long...but that's the problem. It is one MP3 with no ability to press the skip button on my MP3 player and navigate through certain tracks and mixes.
I have about 6 mixed CD's that I wish to convert.
If anyone can provide some assistance and possibly any tools that I may need, that would be greatly appreciated.
Currently I use Media Player, but I also have Audiograbber & Audacity, and then Nero to burn.
If anyone knows if with these apps, I can achieve what I want, your assistance will be appreciated.
