Convert IDE Enclosure to DVD?

Hi

I found a slimline 2.5 inch ide hard disk enclosure here:

Can this be modified to accept a laptop DVD drive instead as no shop I contact seems to have a laptop DVD enclosure in stock!

No the will not fit. You need a 5.25 slimline enclousure.
