Confirming Quality of Burn

I just downloaded the latest version of DVDFab and it is by far the best software available. I’ve been backing up a few of my high quality sound/picture dvd’s and using Sony DVD+R DL (Dual Layer) media, and I select DVD-9 for 100 percent quality transfer.

The problem that I have is that this media is quite expensive, and on my last copy, I can’t recall if I selected DVD-9 or left it at the default of DVD-5. It looks fine, but I want to be 100% certain that it is the same as the original. Is there a log file or way that I can verify what settings I used? If I put the burned copy in and let DVDFab scan it, is there somewhere that will tell me if it was burned at DVD-9 or DVD-5? I can’t really do a side by side comparison of the original and the burned copy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If the size of the files/folder is below around 4480 MB, it should be a DVD5.

Put the disc in the drive, go to My Computer, right click on the drive icon, click open & either hover over the VIDEO_TS File or right click the VIDEO_TS File, click Properties & it should tell you what size it is. Post back with the info.
