Hey Guys, Not sure if I am beating a dead horse…but here it goes anyway. I want to backup my Blu-Ray movies to my PS3, but what I would like to know is…if I purchase a blu-ray reader for my Dell E510 with the Pentium D 2.8 GHZ and Windows XP Media Center SP3 also 3 GB of memory… would that be enough just to copy the movie to my 1.5 T Hard drive. I have the software already that also let’s me backup my regular DVD collection with no problems and it will also do Blu-Ray. Again I do not want to watch the Blu-Ray on the computer just want to backup to hard drive then recode to DivX to play on PS3. Also I am using an ATI All-In-Wonder 2006 video card. Sorry if this sounds rushed…at work writing this. If I need to add more info please let me know. Thanks to all for any help.
I would think it would. Hopefully someone else will verify.

Look into Xvid4PSP for your conversions. You can use the MP4 PS3 preset (x264/AAC audio). It also has a many tweaks available to fine tune your output.
