Computer Resetting Problem

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen of death. How do i stop this? I dont know what driver it means. Resetting is getting on my nerves.

If it helps: STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x0000000C, 0x00000016, 0x00000000, 0xf8059645)

A very nice error eh? Thing is that it doesn’t tell anything about what is going on; this error is spawned on a gazillion of situations. Often, this error points at a hardware stability issue, but there’s no garantuee in that.

Can you perhaps give us some more information on your system? Things like the components in it (or a model number if you’re using an OEM system). And maybe you overclocked something? Or your system is running too hot?

Yeah, could be a lot of things. I used to have this error and found out that is was a defective RAM…funny, cos it was not my first thought for an error like “DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL”…

Your problem is most likely being caused by bad RAM, faulty PSU, or an old ISA card (modem or soundcard or combo.)

This was a common problem awhile ago with Nvidia Video Card drivers.
Also expect and “endless loop” error occasionally.

Update your video card drivers if you have an Nvidia Video card
Also check your AGP drivers.
