Hey. I was wandering if anyone with a computer related job could answer a few questions for me, it’s for a project at school.

  1. What do you do?
  2. Explain the tasks and things you have to do in your job.
  3. How many people do you work with?
  4. How many hours do you work in an average week?
  5. Is this your career of choice? If not, what is?
  6. How much money do you make and what kind of benefits do you get? (optional).
  7. Do you enjoy your job?
  8. What type of education is required?
  9. How long did it take you to get where your at now?

Thanks to anyone that can answer any of all of these questions. Feel free to add to add more comments.

Are computer programmers in India mostly as good at English as you?

I’m assuming that was not sarcastic

Well Kenshin, I work for an American company, with offshore development centers in India. So a majority of my coworkers do speak good English. However I feel that the standard can be definitely improved, especially since the company deals with clients in America - very less in Europe.

I think that should be:

“Are all the computer programmers in India as good as you at English?”

The important comparative phrase is “as good as”.
