Hi hope everyone is well,
I have a problem with my computer every time i try to burn a disc my computer screen flashes off then on and the screen is all distort and i have to restart it. I use img burn but have tried other software and the same thing.
Thank you for any help.

Do you know anything about your power supply, like brand and rated wattage?

I agree.
Either the PSU is bad, or there are bad capacitors on the motherboard.
Additionally, all cables should be checked.

Thank you for getting back to me,
I have checked the cabels they seem ok(well to me).I was thinking it could be the psu it is a allied al-c350atx.
Thank you.

Maybe you could test the burner in another computer to exclude a possible drive damage.

Its a new burner that i got the other week because i thought the old one was the problem. What i have found is if a set the burn speed in img burn the x5 it works ok.
Thank you.
