A startup wants to make it easier to plug in audio jacks by using a magnetic connector. The method works with two accessories, a MagJack for the audio-in and a MagKap for the mini-jack.

This isn’t all that new as appliances have had magnetic connections on power cords for years. They break away before the appliance can be pulled off the counter. Nice idea to apply this to other types of connectors though.
