Oops, sorry, I did overlook “4x”.
Thank you for putting that much work into it.

I have a Sony DVD+RW which is used with UDF 2.01.
When I wrote some files to it using a damaged SN-208FB at school, some sectors became unreadable. Probably, some idiot pupils touched the lens, because that is a slim drive.

When writing some files, one must write small files to allow circumventing the damaged LBAs or delete the damaged files.

I have no screenshots yet, but TSST SE-208 fails scanning, unlike my cheap but really good LiteOn eTAU108, whose only weakness is error correction on a damaged TYG02, which is not any better than GDR8162B.
The DVR-107 (DVR-R07 from DV-RW250) is really good at coping with damaged DVDs, but rather terrible for CDs. Exactly opposite for GDR-H20N.
