Would you recommand these CMC BD-Rs, EZ?
I’ve picked up a LG BH10LS30 burner yesterday and I’m currently looking for some BD-Rs. A 30pc cake of those Platinet 4x BD-Rs is only 25€.
I’d like to stay away from Ritek currently.

Hi,

if you do the Scans with 2x instead of 8x, the results would probably look far better.

I can recommend the CMCMAG BA3 with 4x for the LGBH10LS30, with 6x for the Pioneer BDR205.

Kind Regards

Can’t you get some PHILIPR04s or INFOMEDIA R30s for the same price? Both media types seem to be quite decent.

Thanks

Don’t know (yet). I guess the MediaRange 4x BD-Rs are mostly PHILIPR04s (I’ve ordered some of them already) - 1€ / disc.

Womi:

Fewer errors when scanning at a slower rate , I think " yes", but probably realistic results is not very well:) and Platinet media, it was my first bluray medium, but he was afraid I would buy them in large bulk, CMC MID code from there no guarantee, and the stability and reliability of data BDR at CMC is uncertain, it’s not too mean, but I try and let know;)
Womi, please return to buying, exchanging, and testing media?

Thanks for puttin’ me on the hunt, JC :flower:. Interesting to see even Philips is smart enough to stay away from the media being produced with their own MID

Thinner/more flexible than proven “archival” class media(Falcon-Panasonic). LDC/BIS levels high enough to prompt me to burn a second copy to the good stuff. “Archive for Life” ? Is that the life of a mouse or the life of a MYCE  .

Burner: BDR-206
Firmware: 1.06
Media: Microboards 4x BD-R white inkjet hub printable (MIT)
MID: CMCMAG BA3
Stamper Code: CMBR4DV4 J1001-06 0200
Hub Serial: BRD605PF14130452 A62A L4
Burn Speed: 10x
Burning Software: ImgBurn 2.5.5.0

I found a (closer) local media store that carries Microboards BD-R so I decided to try a 50-pack@$1.26/disc. I was expecting Ritek but was surprised to get CMC. I decided to throw caution to the wind and burn one at the max supported speed since Pioneer seems to think so highly of CMC BD-R media.
