Pioneer BDR-207D, FW1.60 burned at 6x
Mediarange BD-R50 6x, labeled, Jewelcase
MID CMCMAG DI6

Don´t know any more, when I bought them exactly, must habe been around 18 Months ago.
The upper half of the disc with the label is a bit smaller in diameter than the lower half and causes a little step, I call it step rim, it was typical for CMC made BD-R DL discs for a long time.
Nowadays You will find many different types of rim sealings in Mediarange labeled and printable CMC DL discs.

Pioneer BDR-207D, FW1.60, burned at 6x
Mediarange BD-R50 6x, labeled, Jewelcase
MID CMCMAG DI6

The good quality of this batch is confirmed by a different scanner.
I wish, I had more of them.

Mediarange has changed the package design lately, but there is no change in manufacturers/mediacodes according to a statement of the customer service.

New spindle, new fortune?

Pioneer BDR-207D, FW1.60, burned at 6x
Mediarange BD-R50 6x, labeled, Spindle of 10, old design
Different rim/sealing than JC discs above
MID CMCMAG DI6

The layer change of No. 1 looks worse than it is, regarding only the Max values.
No. 2 has a little higher Avg values (due to a warmed up Pioneer writer?), but looks even better.

SHITE! :a
Don´t count your chickens before they´re hatched!:frowning:
The deeper I´m digging, the more this spindle turns to crap.:Z
My old iHBS112 scanner shows the same bad results.

They’re not much, if any, worse than the Verbatim hub printable MEIT02 DL discs I’ve been burning. I’ll post the results up soon.

Edit: Posted starting here.

Right, but I´m spoilt.

Pioneer BDR-S09, FW1.31, burned at 6x
Mediarange BD-R50 6x, labeled, same batch as before, different original Spindle of 10
MID CMCMAG DI6

No. 1 looks quite good.
No. 2 was the last disc of the spindle, seems to have interacted with the plastic surface of the protection disc below, LDC and BIS on the first layer go ballistic, :Z the second layer still looks good.
This kind of chemical reaction of the discs data surface with other plastic surfaces such as in sleeves was monitored before.
That´s why I´m storing my burned discs in jewelcases and don´t buy repacked discs any more. :iagree:
