CloneDVD Writing Problem

Hi all,
I am new at all of this forum stuff so please forgive me. I have both anydvd and clonedvd2. They both work fine on my desktop but when I try to burn a dvd on my laptop the program keeps asking me to insert a blank disk when I already have one in it. The burner I am using is a micro solutions backpack rewriter (it only uses +R). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver but nothing seems to work. Maybe I need a patch for CloneDvd to write a movie on this burner?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Please provide amplifying information as what type of ‘patch’ you are referring to. Perchance are you referring to DVD Firmware?

Please provide the MID (Manufacture ID and Media Code) of the particular blank DVD Media you are using. To obtain this information suggest using DVD Identifier (http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com) or DVDInfo (http://www.dvdinfopro.com).

Also you need to provide more detailed information on exactly what DVD Burner is installed in your Laptop Computer. You need to provide the Manufacture Name, Model Number, and Firmware version. To obtain this information either use DVD Identifier (http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com) or DVDInfo (http://www.dvdinfopro.com).
