Hi how are you all,
I made a VCD from an oversized file on my 99min cdr's. I used Nero to do this and its a 760mb file. I asked once before if I can then use clonecd afterwards and was told that clonecd will keep writing will there is still a track to write on. This is great news for making a simple copy of what I have already, rather than the multi-step process in Nero to overburn. Just 2 questions:
1) In Nero, for this to have worked, the CD had to be burned at 4x. Otherwise the 99min cdr would fail. Does this hold true for clonecd as well? Should I limit burning speed to 4x in clone?
2) Its a VCD but I say its a VCD because my dvd player can read files even without the .dat file and layout put in the cd, so basically its just a single file backuped up that my DVD player can read. Should I use tha Data profile or the Multimedia Audio profile? Will it make a diff in the way the sound and other properties are affected as it is still played as a movie through my DVD player?
Thanks to all, I love this forum its great here...
