I picked up some of the mcc -r and they burned really clean on my 3500. If you almost cannot read the lettering around the hub (really tiny letters stamped in the disk) they are cmc. Like agent009 said in the post linked to above, look for "[6 digits]-DVR-I47A" The 6 digits might be leters too. The one I am looking at right now looks like ZDJ22J-DVR-I47A The leters/numbers are kind of block looking so it is kind of hard to tell what they are, and if you are looking from the outside of the spindle (which you will have to with an unopened spindle), the leters will be reversed (each charicter mirror image) and upside down. They are in a silver ring and plenty big enough to see and read(though you might have to tilt the pack back and forth to get the reflection to show the charicters good). Actually, looking from the back of the disk (the markings show through the disk), they very clearlly say ZD1551-DVR-I47A.
