CinEx and decryption

So far DVD-Ranger CinEx HD is the only software that allows you to remove the Cinavia Blu-ray audio watermark from movies but the software has always been controversial on this site.
Only biggest downside to this is if one wants to use it they must buy CinEx HD competitor software to begin to be able to use CinEx features. You don't see this or mentioned enough so buyers knows what they are buying into til they get to the purchasing page to make the order. Also one has to buy a lifetime license from Slysoft of Anydvd HD which by itself isn't cheap either if they want to makes sure they get update without having to do a 1 or 2 year subscription and keep purchasing after their subscription is over when using Anydvd HD to keep continue to use Anydvd HD again.

Ok to clarify " you do not have to buy competitors software,

If you own DVD Ranger CinEx HD you get CinEx HD free. If you own 90 % of the DVD ripping software out there, which in most cases most do here at MYCE and most do understand AnyDVD HD has been a requirement for Decryption for BD , Unless you own a DVD/BD ripping program that is DATABASE driven to decrypt

CinEx HD was created to compliment your software arsenal to remove the dreaded Cinavia

If you own DVD Ranger CinEx HD, the [B]CinEX HD Utility[/B] program is also available to you at no cost. Hope that helps explain that they are two different programs.

AnyDVD HD is not a free program, so when DVDRanger et al recommend using it, they [B]are[/B] actually telling you to invest in another program just to use theirs.

AnyDVD HD is not the only Blu-ray decryption program. DVDFab can do this as well, and there is currently a free option called MakeMKV, which can make a complete backup of a Blu-ray disc, or output to a main movie only .mkv file. MakeMKV is free to use for Blu-ray while it remains in beta status, and has been in beta for many years now.

Not to forget that the sense of CinEx HD Utility is to remove Cinavia from the copies you did with your favor software before. CinEx HD Utility can remove Cinavia from your old DVDFab and AnyDVD copies so you do not need the original disk and you also do not need an decrypter. It can remove Cinavia from Full copies, Shrinked Copies, AVCHD and also from video files.

DVD-Ranger is a copy software that can copy, shrink, rip, author Blu-ray and DVD. Also convert video files and finaly download Youtube videos. DVD-Ranger has also the possibility to do 1:1 copies of DVD, BD and BD 3D. DVD-Ranger do not come with an decrypter but also have ONE price. As compare with DVDFab you have to pay for every function.

However, who wants to remove Cinavia will get a tool that can remove Cinavia from Copies, Rips and sorry to have this feature, it can also remove Cinavia from original disk because they have the same structure as a copy. We are really sorry that this feature is inside the software.

No disagreement to that point.

But Anydvd HD isn’t cheap when bought standalone if one wants a lifetime license otherwise they will have a 1 or 2 year license subscription to have to renew after their time runs out that can be a expensive purchase should one not use it often enough for their own needs. Or if they forget the subscription is over they will find out when they go to use it the next time and have to go through the renewal process again. Just thought I point that out for others wanting software to backup their DVD/BD movies.

No, DVDFab is also there as well but considering the problem the US been giving them and their site that also makes users consider will this program still be good if they get hit again. Slysoft so far haven’t gotten the full hit yet but I know they are trying as well.

Dvdpasskey for Bly-ray will also work just fine and is much cheaper than Anydvd but Anydvd to me is worth the extra money for the lifetime license which I have had for many years.:)

Get off it, if you don’t like a program ( DNC, dvdfab, dvdpasskey, ideal media, DVD Ranger) then don’t buy it, quite frankly, your 15 min. of fame have come and gone, after all of these threads all it proves is that some people are still so childlish that they have to start a problem like sibblings at home

As to the decrypters, there is more than one choice. Even a free one that you can combine with DVDRanger’s program, though it should be noted that MakeMKV is not updated as quickly as the others and if you are constantly working with very newly released movies, you’d be better off with one of the other two.

As I already pointed out a few times to some members,this 1 and MakeMKV both make the cheapest Cinavia solution 39.99 for use on 3 machines…

As the developer I just want to throw again in, that CinEx HD Utility was developed to help DVDFab, AnyDVD and Torrent users to remove Cinavia from their old copies and downloads. This users also can copy new Blu-ray with their existing decrypter. So CinEx HD Utility do not need an additional decrypter to work if you use it in the way it was developed for.

All will work to compliment any of the softwares DVDRanger mentioned with the CinEx HD Utility Tool.

Kerry56, I think that you know that I was not referring to you. I am and was trying to not get into it with certain people. You have did or said anything wrong that I know of, I should have acknowledged your kind post but I did not, I am sorry. But just with this post it shows how defencive people are getting. When a person starts up information on the forum that states that there are new titles on a database and the next post is about how bad the company then it needs to stop. certain people on this forum does not like DVD Ranger. OK that is fine, But it is getting tiresome that every time DVDRangerforum makes ANY TYPE OF POST, CERTIAN people start telling how bad the company is. I beliave that it is policy of this forum to stick with the thread. If those certain people want to dis the program let them start a thread to do it. I think that they want to hijack the thread because A LOT OF THE READERS will not join in.

Maybe I am wrong, maybe all of the readers will jump in against DVD Ranger. But why not take the dare and start the “I Hate DVD Ranger Because” thread and see how many DIFFERENT people post to it

@ thor21344 , I’ve been trying to just watch from the sidelines & not post in a DVD-Ranger related thread.
The last one I jumped in after DVDranger made an [B]unprovoked[/B] character attack on another forum member. I will do this again if that happens.
If DVDranger remains civil to other members then I will usually stay on the sidelines unless I have something I think needs to be posted in line with the topic.
I know some of that is the admin & mods jobs . I will usually give them a chance & they have “Sin Binned” DVDranger once.
When I do jump in it will be within forum rules but maybe barely & might even cross the line.
Heaven help DVDranger is he comes directly at me .
I rarely if ever back down . Then the thread ends up closed but not at my request.
My attitude toward DVDranger is his own doing & if he manages to remain civil in what he posts in the future he won’t see many posts by me in a DVD-Ranger thread.
