I'd like to buy one of the folloing DVD readers. It has to be one of the following, unfortunately...
- Toshiba SD-M1802
- Asus E166
- Plextor PX-166A
- LiteOn 167T
- Teac DV-516E
My absolute question would be which one reads best. I don't want it to be the faster or anything, I just want it to read media very well, even media in poor condition, and of course to be able to read the most common formats (CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD+/-R and +/-RW). I don't need RAM or DL capabilities. I think the above fit the bill for media formats supported, but I thought I'd mention it to prevent nasty surprises.
I already have a NEC 2500A for a writer and while the writing is great, its reading skills are sometimes pissing me off.
