Don’t need live tiles or tiles at all.Â

Looks as awful as Win8.x - just another fail from MS!

#4

Looks like they never listened to the tester and what people wanted…another FAIL…

#5

I would imagine they did listen to the ‘testers’.
Those who don’t need the tiles, and the people who have bought touch screen laptops, who do need the tiles.

#6

Then they’re not selling to those who don’t need tiles - I wonder who is the majority?

Looks like desktop users will go for another OS then… after Win7 there is no choice left.

I have one good idea for Microsoft… perhaps if Microsoft could add that transperentcy effect to the Windows themselves. Imagine how great that would look! Oh wait, 7 already did that. Hmm… I’ll bet they could make the Windows look “frosted” using a blur. Oops! 7 did that too.

The inclusion of live Tiles in the Programs location is a good indicator they haven’t really listened why is it so hard to give “US” the user the choice of the setup? I know that isn’t hard to do.
