Forgot to mention one thing… Progressive Scan… True not everyone is going to or even needs it but if you have a High definition TV (especially Projection TV) your really going to enjoy the picture…

progressive scan, all it does is just smooth AA the edges so that there is no “jagged” lines. as for HDTV, on advantage for a DVD player, is if it had component video RGB cable to get the res of 720*by whatever, cant think of it.

And still there is yet to be released a DVD player that includes a small buffer for a seamless layer change (At least from all the players I have checked so far). Why is this feature not there yet? I hate layer changes.
