Changing the write stragies of certain media for nec nd3500a?

was wondering if i could edit the write strategies of nec nd 3500ag,

just like my tdk1612b using omnipatcher?

I’d like to write POMSI002 to 8x using nec nd3500ag,
currently it can write only at 2.4x, but i did write 8x perfectly with tdk1612b, and been reading alot and found out that even nec nd2500a can write POMSI002 to 8x,

i bought around 100 pieces of this POMSI002, and its so slow writing it at 2.4x =(, it would be a waste if it only writes at this slow speed, sold my 1612b since i had 2 drives that time, nec nd3500a and tdk1612b

thanks!!!

Welcome to forum swabe

Please specify MID of your media by using DVD Identifier

BTW, POMS plus media is supported at 4x with latest official firmware 2.18.

I think I have the same media. It is supported in Herrie’s 2500 and Quickee’s 2510 firmware.

POMSI00201

oh yeah, i tried all the firmwares, maddog, liggy&dee’s, herrie’s, quickee’s, official, … etc… all of them doesn’t recognize the media…

now i’m thinking i shouldn’t sold my tdk 1612b, where i can write this media at 8x, with stock firmware =(
