Changing sims 2 into an iso image so i can mount it on a virtual drive

can anyone explain to me how to copy from the sims2 cd’s so i can copy them on the flash drive and install from there becuse my daughters cd-rom drive doesn’t work and neither will an external drive work, which is strange, i have downloaded daemon tools but then got a bit stuck in knowing what to do, can anyone explain to me please???

Well, you might start with a search… brings up a lot of threads about the Sims, maybe your question has been already answered.

You have to create disc images of all CDs.
The Play Disc (the one you have to enter to start the game) of Sims 2 is protected with the Safedisc protection.
So please have a look at this guide.

Regarding the usage of virtual drives:
Alcohol 52%/120% (there are also other ways to mount)

The free edition of Alcohol 52% also has a virtual drive and the “Y.A.S.U equivalent” called A.C.I.D.
So you don’t necessarily need to have installed both, Daemon Tools and Alcohol 52%.
The other three unprotected discs can be read with the [I]Normal CD[/I] profile, or also with the [I]Safedisc[/I] one - doesn’t matter.
