Hey, I Flamingo'd up (bit like a cock-up only bigger for you non-Dwarfers) and changed the region on my DVD burner too much, now it's stuck on region 4 and I can't change it!! Any ideas how to get round this? Ta.
Hi and Welcome!
what drive do you have? Knowing the exact model is required to see if there is an answer. In most cases, you are lost.
In theory, the manufacturer is able to reset the region counter, but I have no idea if there is a user that had success here.
I think you can get around this by using AnyDvd.
If you have a Lite-on or BenQ & have saved backups with CodeKings software.
EEPROM_Utility is the main one. You can return to the state the drive was in when you made the backup.
If it its a Liteon then just use LtnRPC.
Hey thanks all for your help, love this forum BTW!! Think I’ll be a regular here…
Got AnyDVD, it’sall working now LOL!!

That’s actually a very cool program! I just RPC1’ed a lot of Sony dvd players.
Smegged if you do…
