Hi, I'm new here,so this question was probably brought up here before
but please bear with me:
I have received a lot of burned discs lately (of a variety of brands) that
has visible 'change of shade' on the recording side.Sometimes from the beginning,
other times on the middle of the dvd.I thought it was because of certain
recorders have such a recording strategy that change speed during burning.
But I bought a pack of TDKs,burned them myself on an old Pio and
they also display the same characteristic.
Starts out light brown then suddenly changes a little darker (all starting from roughly the same
Are these considered as 'bad discs' - is it a fault? They seem to play well.
I've never seen these on 4x branded discs,only on 8x or 16x
The blank disc that I'm using seems to have a smooth surface so the color change probably
occurs during burning.
Thanx for answering.
