I have just purchased this drive, it should be arriving tomorrow, from what I have read it is riplocked.
I have downloaded MCSE 1.2.0.9 27
and I have also downloaded the firmware: CH10LS20_1.00-00 from RPC1.org
My question is will I still need to use MCSE with the RPC1 firmware to remove the riplock or will that firmware already have the riplock removed?
Looking for any advice.

The firmware on RPC1 is a stock firmware (not patched in any way, and same goes for all the others on the RPC1 database) so yes you need to use MCSE to patch it in order to remove riplock and sort our region coding.
