I just posted the article CES 2010: Sony’s Dash is nice, but it is necessary?.

Is it a tablet? Is it a clock? No, it’s Sony’s Dash, a 7-inch touch screen that was surprisingly enjoyable to use when I tried it out at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.

Couldn’t agree more. It was also one of the 10 finalists of the “last gadget standing” show at CES, but was not immediately the favourite of the public. It looks cool, and it’s probably easy to use, but I don’t feel I would use it. Then again, I’m also not a big fan of digital photo frames, which immediately comes in my mind seeing this.

Yeah, it’s basically a large screen alarm clock, with builtin in WiFi and internet widgets. Cool concept, yes, but will they sell any? Maybe. In 5 years, maybe everyone will have an internet-enabled alarm clock :stuck_out_tongue:
