My husband installed a Cendyne CD\RW on a 300Mz PII Gateway in the Spring of 2001. It ran just fine. However, we decided to give the old computer to our son for school and decided it would be best to reformat the hard drive. Now we can't get the drive to work. When I try to load the software, I keep getting asked which version of Prassi Prego I wish to load. When I hit the key for the English version it asks for a serial number. I can no longer find the book with the serial number, and since Cendyne is shutting down they don't seem to have enough intelligent people still on staff to read what I have written in the customer support questionaire. The first request yielded a 20 digit serial number, when the software input area will only hold 14 characters. The second request yield a snotty answer that they were no long providing hardware and parts support.
Can anyone help?
