I had the same problem when i bought cheap or brandless cdr. I now use cdr with brands (sony, verbatin,Fuji,etc) Now i don't have any problems any more.

Hi,

I have a hp 7200. When I try to burn an regular cd cdrwin says that it is a bad medium. But it isn’t i know for sure. Does anyone know a solution for this problem ?

Several problems can cause this message.

  • Your OS version
  • Your driver
  • Your setup of the CDR programm you’re using
  • The CDR’s you’re using
  • and many more.

for your solutions, I think its a problem with windows. So I just have to reinstall windows.

B4 you do…if it’s not to late, try to reinstall aspi drivers and firmware for the burner.
Don’t no if this helps…but I would try.

Or it could be that your writer is dirty inside…
