Regarding their compatibility test the Pioneer and TEAC DVD-ROM didn’t even read some SL DVD+Rs in their infamous test they made last year if I remember correct. It seems to be a problem with SL burners and DL DVD+R though but that should be fixed with firmware updates. What I would like to know is how the compatibility is with set-top players, especially when DVD-ROM book type is used.
In the Sony DL review he said it played in a Apex 4500 or was it a 2500.
