CDR-Win error

Yesterday I did a clean install of XP and now i want to burn a ISo with CDR-Win and I’ll get this error  :

The strange thing is that my dvd burner and my normal burner are listed by the readers in the cdr-win options menu.
I already tried other versions but that didn’t work.
Before the clean install cdr-win did worked perfect…

Somebody tips or something??

Install ASPI.

Install ASPI.

I used to have the same prob… Installing aspi didn’t work. :frowning:

Then install ASPI 4.60 or after installing ASPI 4.7x run this small patch: http://www.ntcompatible.com/downloadget.php?id=12&file=1

dude…my ASPI is ok

I will suggest to avoid any last adaptec 4.71 or 4.72 .

Use 4.60 for example forceaspi or aspiall which will always reinstall the 4 aspi files .

This solved the problem on my system .

You can get forceASPI 4.60 at:

XP has it’s own ‘ASPI’ - the SCSI Passthrough Interface and it works fine with CDRWin.

Unless it doesn’t work properly in some cases.

Do you know why? MartinX told me that some of the team work with SCSI - are you one of these people? The first problem people have with CDRWin is enabling the native ‘ASPI’ - it’s a shocker.

I’m not in Alcohol team. As for CDRWin - its native ASPI gave me nothing except bsods. I didn’t ever bother to check what’s wrong though.

Being a translator doesn’t mean that I’m in their team :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
