I tried a a few batches of mitsui's about 2 years ago across several cdrwriters.
They wrote ok at full speed, but they only read back at 1/2 speed in the burner, or in normal drives.
They may last forever, but if you can't read them back at a decent speed (ie >8x) then they don't get thumbs up.
Kodak were great, but unfortunately i didn't use enough of them to make a real decision. Also after 2 years since kodak made their last real "kodak manufactured" batch and started rebadging riteks, they now get the thumbs down
ie Only Decent if desperate.
But I still have about 5 original Kodak "Digital science" cdr's floatin around my "backups". They get a thumbs up.
How about 5 1/2th
TY media I have yet to find marketed in this area. If cd's are not available in the area, then they also get thumbs down. They need to work on their market penetrations
I also can't review cdr I haven't got, and haven't had for at least a few years. (Unless they disintegrate in a shorter time period, cos then the manufacture quality is obvious)
