you probably already tried the new cdex Cdex 1.70 Beta 1 . So maybe some of you could explain to me why it gives me so much C2 errors when ripping a cd with my 1620 ???I have always used this drive for audio ripping because it doesn't cache, so it is supposed to give me better rip quality, although it takes much longer????
Ripped one CD to MP3 with just that combination this week, bichonn. Just a quick test, deleted the result in the mean time. Didn't see any errors though. Where would you see C2 errors on a rip?
The amount of error is shown during the rip!!!Which setting did you used for your benq? Generic ?
Yes, all standard settings (Generic), didn't configure anything. Ripped the CD again to WAV and (errors: 0) all the time. Just on the track changes there's a little jump of the Jitter bar graph. Using an nForce3 board with standard M$ IDE driver for the BenQ.
hmm, I ripped the same cd again, and this time with no errors?????The first time, I probably set something wrong ??!!Thanks Cressida, this soft is a piece of art.BTW: I am using an Nforce 4 with MS IDE drivers also.
