Hey everyone.(Specifically geniouses who can fix this problem).
I have an old as the hills CD Writer that has always been reliable and still reads and burns. However, after moving it from my old computer to my newer computer, something I've done before several times I might add... Windows now sees it as a "CD Drive" under "My Computer". And you might say, "So what! Just use third party software!". The problem is, it functions under windows just fine! The real trouble is, there are no third party softwares I've tried that have been able to detect and/or recognize it properly. What the heck happened?
To summarize: CD Writer reads and burns fine through Windows, but has become undetectable by third party software which I have relied on for this drive in the past. Any clue what went wrong?
