I’m looking for an application that will rip audio CD’s through a command prompt (will allow another application to start the rip through a command line). I would also like it to be able to tag the files using CDDB or Freedb. Possibly something that uses Lame… Anyone have any thoughts?
for the plain ripping process, you may have a look at CDRTools. A Windows NT port does exist either.
As for mp3 converting, lame.exe has its own cmdline interface.
CDDAO will also do it: http://www.fetal.de/cdrdao-1.2.3-binaries-for-windows
