CD-R to put MP3 songs on it

Ok I know how to burn cd’s to have music on it but my buddie burned me a cd that was regular CD-R and he put a lot on it and it’s always read as an mp3 cd. Every time I go to burn a CD it says there is too much media or it’s too much time. The play list I want to burn is 350 MB and the CD’s are 700 MB. I want to know how to burn them using the MB feature insead of using the 80 minute feature. Does anyone know how to do this??? By the way I’m using Itunes I don’t know if that makes a difference.

sounds like your buddie uses ISO image and data file system I have made two such cd’s both have 12 hours of music on them the problem is not all if not very few cd players will read the data file that is created with the ISO file

all you have to do is create a “data” disc. imgburn in create mode will do it for you. all you have to do is select the folder with the files in it.

Can your player read WMA or MP3’s? If so using Roxio Creator Classic is just the ticket and you can load almost 400 songs on a disk! I use my disks in my car for it can read MP3/WMA disks!

ok thank you guys so much. My CD player plays both MP3 and WMA. Do you know if that roxio classic is free at all or do you have to pay for it. Another question is when I do get it do you know how to do it?? Yeah I noticed something on my buddies computer when he burned it that said roxio. Thank you guys again so much.
